What is your vision for Wyoming/Park County/Cody?

The reason I’m running for Representative of House District 50 is to keep Wyoming the same place that I’ve been blessed to grow up in.  I believe we live in the best part of the best state in the union and I want to ensure that future generations inherit the same opportunities, freedoms, and way of life we enjoy.  We need to build on the values that have always made Wyoming strong: hard work, personal responsibility, strong families, respect for our neighbors, and good stewardship of the land.

For Park County, that means preserving our agricultural heritage while creating new opportunities for young families and local businesses.  Our economy should support ranchers, farmers, energy producers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses alike, so our children and grandchildren can build their futures here instead of feeling they have to leave Wyoming to find opportunity.  I support responsible economic diversification that complements our Wyoming way of life, including industries that respect our communities, our natural resources, and our values.

I want Wyoming to remain the best place in America to live, work, and raise a family. That requires responsible, conservative government that lives within its means, protects private property rights, keeps public lands public, and invests wisely in the essential services our communities depend on, including quality education, accessible healthcare, and reliable infrastructure.

As a fifth-generation Wyomingite, business owner, and audiologist, I’ve spent my career listening to people and solving problems.  My goal as your representative is to bring that same practical, common-sense approach to Cheyenne.  I won’t be there to represent political organizations or special interest caucus – I will be there to represent the people of House District 50. I believe Wyoming works best when leaders are willing to actually get their hands on something, work with anyone who has a good idea, and stay focused on delivering results.

Ultimately, my vision is simple: keep Wyoming unmistakably Wyoming – a place where freedom is protected, communities are strong, businesses can thrive, public lands remain a treasured resource, and the next generation has every reason to stay, build a life, and carry our Wyoming legacy forward.

What is your vision for Wyoming/Park County/Cody?

My vision is simple: to leave Wyoming, Park County, and Cody better for the next generation.

For me, that is not an abstract goal. My wife and I are raising our three boys here. They will attend our schools, explore our public lands, participate in our community, and live with the decisions we make today. I want them and every child growing up in Wyoming to inherit the freedom, opportunity, safety, and quality of life that make this such a special place.

That starts with limited government and local control. Government should protect our rights, keep our communities safe, provide essential services, and otherwise give families, businesses, and communities the freedom to succeed. We should keep taxes low, control spending, and avoid unnecessary programs and regulations. Every dollar government spends was earned by someone, and we should treat it that way.
Decisions should also be made as close to home as possible. The people of Cody and Park County understand our needs better than officials in Cheyenne or Washington, D.C. Local governments, school boards, and community leaders need the flexibility to make decisions that reflect our values and priorities. One-size-fits-all policies rarely work in rural Wyoming.

We also need opportunities for our children to build their lives here. That means supporting local businesses, reducing unnecessary regulations, strengthening infrastructure, expanding workforce opportunities, and finding practical solutions for rural healthcare and attainable housing. Growth should strengthen our communities and preserve our way of life, not fundamentally change who we are.
Strong communities depend on strong families and good schools. Parents should remain the primary decision-makers in their children’s lives, and education should remain locally controlled. We should support our teachers while trusting local school boards, parents, and communities to make decisions that meet the needs of their students.

Public service has taught me that leadership requires listening, understanding difficult issues, bringing people together, and standing on principle. As an attorney, community volunteer, former drug court judge, and president of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, I have seen what our community can accomplish when people work together.

I am not running to build a political career. I am running because I have a stake in the next generation. I want to protect the freedoms and opportunities we inherited and preserve them for those who come after us.

Wyoming does not need to become more like somewhere else. We should preserve what makes our state exceptional: limited government, local control, personal responsibility, strong families, and strong communities.

My vision is a Wyoming where families can thrive, businesses can grow, communities have a voice, government respects its limits, and our children can choose to stay, raise families, and proudly call Wyoming home.
