There’s something for everyone this week on the big screen, so don’t miss out!
Curatorial Assistant– Part-time. Cody Heritage Museum is seeking a person to work 20 hrs./week June thru September including some Saturdays and Sundays. October-May 10-20 flexible hrs./month. Duties include: general office work including membership processing, keeping files up-to-date, graphics, social media, and website management. Salary TBD. | The Cody Branch of the American Association of University Women will be awarding a $2,000.00 scholarship. Deadline for the application is April 1, 2026, and the scholarship will be awarded May 1, 2026. Preference for this scholarship is given to Cody-area women who will be at the junior, senior or graduate level of college in their next semester. Selection for the scholarship is based on scholastic ability, financial need, an indication of commitment to one’s chosen field, and the overall quality of the application. Park Co. Search & Rescue Foundation will be giving away three (3) $500 scholarships to one graduating senior from each of the three Park County School Districts. The scholarships are open to all public school students, private school students, and homeschool students in Park County, WY. Please visit parkcountywysarfoundation.org for more information and click on the scholarship tab to download an application. Deadline is March 31, 2026.
Park County Republican Women will award four (4)- $1,000 scholarships to young women in our county at our annual Leadership Tea on April 12th. Ladies who apply must be current residents of Park County and graduating from high school in 2026.
One scholarship is sponsored by the Coe family in honor of Peg Coe. Another sponsored scholarship is in Peg Shreve’s name and given by her family. Two scholarships are a result of fundraising and are awarded by our club. Offering scholarships reflects our strong commitment to the education of local women and it gives us joy to remember and celebrate Peg Shreve and Peg Coe. These ladies were members of P.C.R.W. and fine examples of leadership. Thank you to the Coe and Shreeve families for sponsoring these annual scholarships. The Garage-A-Rama is coming! The Cody Optimist Club rents the gymnasium area at the Cody Rec Center on a Friday and Saturday in April. Rectangular spaces in the gymnasium are rented to local Vendors (the sellers). The spaces are 12 feet by 8 feet in size. Tables and chairs are also rented to the Vendors. In 2026, the Vendor Spaces rent for $45 each, tables for $6 each, and chairs for $3 each. Some electrical outlets are also available for $5 each. The Vendors sell various garage sales items, tools, toys, jewelry, clothing items, books, baked goods, etc., just about anything you might find at a typical garage sale. However the Cody Optimists do not allow Vendors to sell Firearms, Guns, Ammo, Fireworks, Marijuana, Cannabis Products, Narcotics, Sex Toys, Pornography, or Animals.
