The City of Cody is looking for community members interested in serving on one of our volunteer boards! We currently have openings on the following:
‣ Planning and Zoning Board – 2 positions (3-year term)
‣ Yellowstone Regional Airport Board – 1 position (3-year term)
‣ Contractors Board: Licensed General Contractor – 1 position (3-year term)
‣ Contractors Board: Licensed Plumbing Contractor – 1 position (3-year term)
‣ Contractors Board: Member-at-Large – 1 position (3-year term)
Serving on a City board is a great opportunity to share your knowledge, provide input, and play an active role in your community.

Cleaning out the garage, basement, or storage spaces before winter? Our Bulk Item Removal Program is here to help! Once per month, residential customers can schedule the removal of certain items that cannot be placed inside a dumpster or roll-out container.

♻ Exciting news from the Cody Recycling Center!
We’re happy to share that aluminum can recycling is back up and running following a brief pause for the installation of our new can crusher.
The upgraded equipment will help streamline can processing and continue supporting programs like our School Can Recycling Program. Residents can donate their aluminum cans to a participating school, and at the end of the school year, schools will receive a payout based on the cans collected.
It’s a simple way to recycle while supporting our schools and students! 💚

FUNDRAISERS & RAFFLES

It’s that time of year again! The Paul Stock Aquatic & Recreation Center is inviting local businesses and organizations in and around Cody to participate in our Annual Halloween Carnival! Friday, October 30 |  6:00–7:30 PMBusinesses and organizations are invited to host a carnival booth and engage with local families and children. Booth participants will be responsible for providing, setting up, operating, and staffing their booth, as well as providing and handing out prizes or giveaways. The Cody Crux is an after school youth climbing program serving kids grades 4-12 in Park County, Wyoming.  The mission of the Cody Crux is to help youth in Park County to develop their skills and explore world class climbing areas in northwest Wyoming.  Weekday after school sessions take place at the Crux climbing facility at Club Dauntless in Cody.  Indoor climbing in a gym setting is very useful for skill development, gaining fitness, and challenging oneself athletically.  

Cody Crux programs are coordinated by Wyoming Mountain Guides and its staff of professional climbing guides.  Our guides provide professional instruction and mentorship to youth at a fraction of the cost of our regular guided climbing programs.  Thanks to Club Dauntless, we have a state-of-the-art bouldering facility for kids to train indoors.  SIGN UP TODAY
