The Right Leadership for House District 50

The decisions we make today will determine the Wyoming our children inherit tomorrow.

That is why I am running for House District 50.

As the father of three young boys, I think about Wyoming’s future every day. My wife and I are raising our family here because we believe Wyoming is one of the best places in America to live, work, raise a family, and build a future. I want to ensure that the opportunities we enjoy today remain available to the next generation.

To accomplish that, Wyoming must remain committed to the principles that have always made our state strong: limited government, fiscal responsibility, personal responsibility, and local control.

The Wyoming Legislature exists to serve the people, not the other way around. Its job is to protect our freedoms, safeguard our constitutional rights, maintain responsible government, and preserve the Wyoming way of life. It should not seek to solve every problem with more spending, more bureaucracy, or more mandates from Cheyenne.

I believe strong families, strong communities, and local decision-making are the foundation of a strong Wyoming. The people closest to a problem are usually best equipped to solve it. Parents know what is best for their children. Local communities understand their own needs better than distant government officials. Local governments should have the flexibility to address local concerns without unnecessary interference from state or federal bureaucracies.

That belief guides how I would serve in the Legislature.

I will approach every bill with a simple question: Will this make Wyoming stronger for the next generation?

If it protects freedom, strengthens families, promotes opportunity, respects local control, and preserves the values that make Wyoming unique, it deserves serious consideration. If it expands government, weakens local decision-making, or places unnecessary burdens on Wyoming citizens, it should be opposed.

My career has prepared me for that responsibility. As an attorney, I have spent years helping Wyoming citizens solve difficult problems, navigate complex laws, and protect what matters most to them. Every day requires careful analysis, sound judgment, and practical problem-solving.

More importantly, my profession has taught me what it means to be a representative. My job is not to substitute my personal views for the interests of my clients. My responsibility is to listen, understand their goals, provide honest advice, and advocate for their interests, even when I might personally approach an issue differently. The focus is not on what I want. The focus is on faithfully representing the people who have entrusted me with that responsibility.

That is exactly how I will approach serving House District 50.

If elected, I will never forget that this seat belongs to the people of the district, not the person holding the office. My responsibility will be to listen to my constituents, understand their concerns, and be their voice in Cheyenne. Representation is not about imposing your own agenda. It is about faithfully advocating for the people you serve.

My public service has reinforced those same values. During my five years as a drug court judge, I worked alongside law enforcement, treatment providers, and community leaders to promote accountability while protecting public safety. As President of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce and through service on numerous nonprofit and civic boards, I have worked to strengthen our local economy, support small businesses, and improve opportunities for future generations.

Those experiences have taught me an important lesson: government works best when it remains accountable, fiscally responsible, and focused on its core responsibilities.

I will be a strong advocate for Wyoming families, Wyoming jobs, and Wyoming values. I will support our agriculture, energy, tourism, and small business communities. I will defend the Second Amendment, protect private property rights, support law enforcement, and fight to keep taxes low. I will also work to preserve Wyoming’s outdoor heritage and the public access opportunities that generations of Wyoming families have enjoyed.

Most importantly, I will never lose sight of why I am seeking this office.

I am not running to become a politician. I am running because I want my children, and every child growing up in House District 50, to have the same opportunities that previous generations worked so hard to provide for us.

A Wyoming where freedom still matters.

A Wyoming where decisions are made as close to the people as possible.

A Wyoming where government lives within its means.

A Wyoming where families and communities, not bureaucracies, shape the future.

Ultimately, elections are about trust. I am asking for your vote because I will bring conservative principles, sound judgment, and a commitment to service to the Wyoming House of Representatives. Every decision I make will be guided by a simple goal:

To leave Wyoming better for our children than it was for us.

That is the future I will fight for, and that is the future House District 50 deserves.
