Where the Wild West Falls in Love with Romance: Cody Romance Roundup
Romance readers and book lovers have reason to celebrate as the Cody Romance Roundup returns for its fourth year. This event brings together romance writers from across the country for an unforgettable signing event at the Chamberlin Inn in the heart of downtown Cody, Wyoming.
There’s a new kickoff to the Cody Romance Roundup this year with Cody Romance Reads which will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026 in the garden at the Chamberlin. Authors will entertain listeners with short readings from their books. Book sales will only take place during the signing event on Saturday.
The event takes place August 8, 2026 from 1-5 p.m. in the courtyard of one of Cody’s most beloved historic downtown hotels. Attendees can browse and purchase books, meet their favorite authors, enjoy live music by Cori Gordon and specially crafted themed cocktails such as Librarian’s Libation, Jaime’s Desire, Nina’s Nighty, Adrianne’s Proposal, and Skylar’s Escape.
The Roundup was founded by five local romance authors who shared a vision of bringing their passion for writing to the community: Tam DeRudder Jackson, Sara Vinduska, Linda Rae Sande, KJ Gillenwater, and Jacque Cobourn (who writes as J.R. Cobourn). What began as a dream among five writers has grown into a celebrated annual tradition that draws authors and readers alike to this unique event.
This year’s signing features romance writers spanning all sub-genres — from contemporary, Christian, and historical to paranormal and suspense — giving readers a wide range of stories to discover and fall in love with. In addition to the founding authors, readers can pick up books by local authors
