Wyo Gives 2026 Was a Record-Breaking Success
Just over $475,000 came into Park County nonprofits during the WyoGives 2026 statewide day of giving on July 15, 2026. Hosted by the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, the 24-hour online day of giving included the $1 million Incentive Pool generously provided by the Hughes Charitable Foundation (HCF). Their investment has helped inspire generosity and strengthen Wyoming’s nonprofit sector. Since 2021, the HCF has contributed $6 million to WyoGives.
Many of the Park County nonprofits had donors who were primed to take advantage of the matching funds to make their donation dollars stretch further. The top ten local leaders were:
- Cody Regional Health Foundation – $141,170
- Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation – $102,550
- Meeteetse Museums – $36,217
- Dude Ranch Foundation – $28,055
- Bright Futures Mentoring – $20,660
- CASA of the 5th Judicial District – $17,525
- Homesteader Museum – $15,701
- Buffalo Bill Center of the West – $13,230
- Northwest College Foundation & Alumni – $11,230
- By Western Hands – $10,850
In addition, two Park County nonprofits – Bright Futures Mentoring and the Powell Medical Foundation – won extra prize money for their efforts of taking photos of supporters holding up the 2026 WyoGives fan and sharing them on social media. They were selected randomly.
Park County Search and Rescue and Plaza Diane won the drawing for a Golden Ticket prize of an extra $500 because someone donated during a specific hour.
“WyoGives was created to strengthen Wyoming’s nonprofit sector and inspire generosity, and this year’s results reflect the impact of that shared commitment,” said Katherine Ratigan, Communications and Program Manager for the Wyoming Nonprofit Network. “More than 500 organizations serving communities across the state will benefit from the generosity of thousands of donors who chose to invest in Wyoming through WyoGives.”
“This year’s theme, The Power of One, reminds us that every act of support begins with one person. One donor. One volunteer. One nonprofit. One community. When those individual acts are united across Wyoming for one day, they become something far greater, creating a lasting impact that will strengthen communities across our state,” said Jody Shields, Executive Director of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network.
The Wyoming Nonprofit Network also recognizes Governor Mark Gordon for proclaiming July 15 as WyoGives Day in Wyoming and for his continued support in highlighting the vital role nonprofits have in communities across the state.
