On The Move: Sitti’s Table Expands
Sitti’s Table was born from Porter’s heartfelt memories of gathering around her grandmother’s table, where family and friends came together to connect and cherish their time together. In Lebanese, “Sitti” means “grandmother,” and it’s Porter’s deep connection to her heritage and her grandmother Marie’s influence that inspired what has now become a thriving restaurant in Cody, Wyoming.
Marie has authored several cookbooks and takes great pride in what Porter and her husband have accomplished to keep her recipes—and their culture—alive. Their efforts even caught the attention of Guy Fieri, who had featured Sitti’s Table on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. During filming, Guy paused production to interview Marie, sparking a genuine connection that became a cherished memory.
Porter and her husband first began serving the Cody community in 2018 with their catering business and pop-up events, prioritizing community and connection. In 2022, they opened Sitti’s Table, offering a small but carefully curated menu of salads and sandwiches, along with gourmet spices and artisanal products.
Sitti’s Table has become a beloved spot for coffee dates and lunches, with demand quickly outpacing their seating capacity. Now, they are excited to expand into the neighboring space which will maintain the cultural authenticity that reflects Porter’s Lebanese roots. The menu will continue to feature fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced Mediterranean-inspired dishes, as well as their carefully selected artisanal products from around the globe.
The expansion comes with new offerings, including earlier hours for coffee, a larger bakery selection using 100% organic flour, and plans to experiment with occasional dinner services. “This community has been incredible,” Porter said, expressing her deep gratitude for the support and encouragement Cody has shown. She looks forward to providing an even more welcoming space where people can gather, connect, and enjoy wholesome, locally sourced meals.
Sitti’s Table is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where heritage, family, and community come together, one delicious bite at a time.
