Festival of Trees Announces 2026 Charities and a Golf Tournament

Sep 4, 2026

The Festival of Trees is hosting its first golf tournament on Saturday, September 12th to raise money for the two non-profits that will receive fund from the festival’s event tickets this November. In true festival fashion, the tournament will bring a little Christmas to the course with contests and prizes throughout the course. There is even a hole-in-one contest on 4 of the holes with prizes including $25,000 cash!

Wyoming Dream Hunts arranges hunting expeditions for children with disabilities or life-threatening illnesses, giving them the chance to experience the outdoors in ways they might not otherwise have. These hunts are more than just a hunting expedition. They are life-changing experiences that connect children with nature and give them a sense of accomplishment all while fostering a relationship with the guides. In 2026, they arranged 6 hunts with the possibility of a couple of more. These hunts are all covered by donations for both the hunter and a family member.

One Stop Help Center is the second non-profit to receive funds from Festival event sales. First Stop Help Center is a program within the Foundation for Heart Mountain Free Clinic. It offers case management and direct financial assistance to provide relief in times of crisis. They assist with everything from medical bills and prescription assistance to housing assistance and domestic violence transition. The center is dedicated to improving the lives of our community residents and striving to reduce poverty in our community. This is done with compassion and respect by promoting long-term independence and sustainability.
