Ranch Resource Forum
The East Yellowstone Collaborative (EYC) is pleased to invite Park County landowners and stewards to Building Success for Working Lands of the Absaroka Front, an event that will explore innovative solutions for landowners and managers along the Absaroka Front. This gathering will take place on December 12, 2024, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM in Cody. RSVP to Laura Bell 307-272-4613 or [email protected] by December 9 for details.
The forum will feature the introduction of the newly formed Park County Brucellosis Compensation Fund, providing attendees an opportunity to learn about this critical new initiative designed to support local ranchers and landowners impacted by wildlife-related disease transmission. In addition, landowners, land managers, and agency representatives will share their experiences with the Big Game Conservation Partnership, highlighting the challenges and opportunities associated with hosting wildlife on working landscapes.
This event offers a unique chance to connect with key partners in conservation, agriculture, and land management, with a focus on sustaining working lands and promoting economic resilience in the region. Attendees will hear updates from Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Farm Service Agency (FSA) staff about the latest developments while enjoying light fare, refreshments, and good conversation with peers and partners. Please RSVP to ensure accurate headcount for refreshments to Laura Bell at [email protected] or call 307-272-4613.
