What’s happening this week in Cody?
From the Newsletter for Thursday, Oct 30, 2025:
Thursday afternoon there’s the Hootin’ Howlin’ Halloween at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. It will transform into a Halloween playground filled with crafts, candy, games, live raptors, and just the right amount of frightful family fun. Also tonight is the first night of the Eagles Annual Haunted House.
And this evening is the first of five opportunities to see The Wizard of Oz at the Cody Theatre. Just a heads up – we inadvertently had Sunday’s performance listed at 7:00 pm. The correct time of that performance is 4:00 pm. We’ve worked to correct it where we can, but we don’t want anyone to miss this great show.
Be sure to check the Spooktacular Events article for all that’s happening this weekend. We just got word to add in Bighorn Cinemas is showing the Twilight Saga through November 2.
Saturday is the Cody Cupboard Food Drive – and this year with the government shutdown, it’s especially important to make sure their shelves are full. Also, the always popular Presbyterian Women’s 25th Annual Fall Festival happens as well as the Christmas Open House at the Thistle.
And finally, don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour. Daylight savings time ends at 2:00 am on Sunday.
