Cody Jewelers: Ready to Find Your Natural Diamond

Oct 2, 2026

It’s diamond season! Come in and put in your order for natural diamonds. On October 11, the owners of Cody Jewelers head back to Antwerp, Belgium, the diamond capital of the world. As often as twice a year, our diamond buyers travel there to sit down with the cutting houses and hand-select diamonds for our customers. It’s a very special experience for us, and I want you to be part of it.

Why We Go to the Source

Antwerp is home to some of the world’s most respected diamond-cutting houses, and we have direct access to them. That means we can see diamonds that may not yet have been marketed or offered through traditional channels, in some cases before large companies like Tiffany & Co. come in to buy in bulk. We’re extremely lucky to be invited in, especially at the size of our company. There are very large companies that never get this experience.

Could we order a diamond from here? Absolutely, and we do. But Antwerp gives us another level of access and selection. Rather than asking a supplier to send us a few options, we look for the right diamond for you.

Beauty, Not Just Numbers on Paper

When we’re sitting with the cutters, we can compare many diamonds side by side rather than relying solely on a grading report or an online listing. Our buyers look beyond the certificate and judge each stone by its cut, brilliance, fire, and overall beauty.

Here’s why that matters. Two diamonds can look absolutely identical to the naked eye, yet one may carry a higher grade on its report than the other. Those grades come from microscopes and machines that pick up differences you’d never notice. Seeing stones in person lets us weigh what you’ll actually see against what’s on paper, and put your budget where it counts most for you.

Our job isn’t simply to find the biggest diamond. It’s to find the best diamond for your priorities.

What We Can Find for You

This doesn’t have to be an engagement ring. We can search for:

  • Center stones for engagement and bridal
  • Anniversary and milestone gifts
  • Diamond studs and pendants
  • Upgrades and trade-ups
  • Stones for cocktail rings, fashion rings, and custom jewelry
  • Replacement diamonds
  • Special shapes or sizes and loose diamonds
  • Small diamonds, or melee, for custom projects

Any shape, any size, any budget range.

How it Works

1 | Share your vision. Let us know what you’re looking for: shape, size, quality, budget, the piece the stone is going into, and anything else that matters to you. You don’t have to know exactly what you want. We’ll help you figure out which characteristics matter most before we leave.

2 | Place a fully refundable deposit. We require a 25 percent deposit. It tells our buyers you’re serious and lets us go to Antwerp with your request in hand. You don’t pay for the diamond before we leave, and if you decide not to buy, your deposit is refunded.

3 | We search Antwerp for you. One of our diamond buyers personally examines stones at the cutting houses with your priorities in mind. We’re not sending an order to an anonymous supplier. When it makes sense, we can send you photos and video from Antwerp, or even set up a live video call so you can be part of the search while we’re there.

4 | You have final approval. The diamond comes back to the shop for you to see in person, and the decision is yours.

From there, our design team can help you create or select the setting that best showcases it. Qualifying diamonds are also eligible for our trade-up program, so you have the option of moving into a different or larger diamond down the road.

And as a little added bonus, everyone who places a deposit on an Antwerp diamond is automatically entered in a drawing to win a free pair of diamond studs.

Come Talk with Us

Very few purchases are as personal or as lasting as a diamond. Instead of choosing only from what’s in a showcase or on a screen, you can have one of our buyers travel to the diamond capital of the world looking specifically for yours.

If you’re in the market for a natural diamond, now is the time. Come down to Cody Jewelers at 1213 Sheridan Ave in downtown Cody with any questions, and I’m happy to go into it in more depth. And even if you’re not shopping for a diamond right now, stop in and say hi. We just brought in an incredible selection of new jewelry to kick off fall.
