Majestic Lube Acquired by New Owners

Jun 13, 2025

Fresh, bright yellow and blue paint adorns the newly remodeled Majestic Lube located on Yellowstone Avenue. It’s spiffing up so nicely that many community members who have been stopping by are asking if it is a new building! In late October of 2024, Jared and Madison Friess purchased the Cody, Wyoming, Majestic Lube. Canadian-born Jared Friess is no stranger to the car quick-service industry. He has years of experience working with his family in various capacities at their Canadian and now U.S. locations.

Added Services

Currently, the Majestic Lube shop has eight dedicated employees servicing vehicles. The best part about this new rehabilitation and the additional staff is that no appointments are necessary. It is a new 15-minute preventative maintenance service that addresses all fluids and filters. They also include a free 24-point inspection to ensure you are road-ready.

Cody local Joshua Schuler, said:
He was so grateful for how thorough the staff were when he got his oil changed. They did a tire checkup for free and recommended getting his tire pressure sensor replaced at a local repair shop.

Car Wash Options

Automatic Car Wash
Jared chose to completely overhaul the automatic car wash! It took $30,000 in investment and new parts to get the car wash up and running. Jared admits that his standards for operation are high and prefers it that way. The new car wash is now open and is offered as a complimentary add-on to any synthetic oil change.

Self-Service and RV Bay
New and updated wands have been acquired. He knows the pricing and investment required to operate at the level of excellence he prefers. He has also made sure each bay is adequately equipped for locals and travelers alike.

Future Plans

Having done this many times before, Jared has a solid grasp of the business’s scope for future growth. Currently, they will add a $39 inside detail service beginning in mid-June of 2025. In a year, they will be opening a drive-up tire service bay in the current RV bay. The community can look forward to continuing to receive excellent customer service and an already brilliant business model, thriving with Jared and Madison Friess at the wheel.
