Yellowstone Film Festival

The first annual Yellowstone Film Festival will be held at Big Horn Cinemas in Cody, Wyoming from March 21 to March 27, 2025.

Submissions will be accepted October 2024 through January 2025.

The official film selection will be announced February 28th.

The Yellowstone Film Festival will be hosted by Big Horn Cinemas in Cody, Wyoming and is open to submissions from around the world.

Located just 52 miles from the East entrance of Yellowstone National Park and home to a vast array of creatives, our town was founded in 1896 by Colonel William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody who was known the world over for his Wild West Show.

Over a century after Cody’s death, our mission is to showcase films we believe are pivotal in the current storytelling renaissance and host workshops to further educate seasoned filmmakers as well as introduce newcomers to the craft. Never before in history has the art of filmmaking been so accessible to the masses!

A custom buckle created by Montana Silversmiths will be awarded to the 2025 Best Picture winner!
