Yellowstone Film Festival

The first annual Yellowstone Film Festival will be held at Big Horn Cinemas in Cody, Wyoming from March 21 to March 27, 2025.

The inaugural festival highlights independent filmmaking and artistic diversity, featuring selections from over 500 submissions spanning the United States, India, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil, Spain, Iran, China, and more. Regional filmmakers from Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana will also take center stage.

Festival Founder and Director Jacob Graham shares, “My vision is to grow the festival into an event where people can enjoy independent films from all over the world, but also have the opportunity to learn the art of filmmaking.”

The spotlight will land on competitive categories including Best Narrative Feature, Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Feature, Best Animated Short, and Best Local Feature. In truly Western fashion, the winner will receive a beautiful custom-made belt buckle, made exclusively for the festival in neighboring Montana.
