Wild West River Fest 2026

Come join us for the annual Wild West RiverFest in Cody Wyoming, August 7th to 9th. As seen in Kayak Session Magazine, this is the premier summer kayaking event in Wyoming.
Slalom, Boatercross, Sprint (any craft), or spectate! We have something for everyone at Wild West River Fest!

Friday, August 7th, 2026
All Day Slalom Practice (Open Course)
4-5 pm: Open Registration @ Hayden Arch Bridge (or online ahead of time)
6 pm: Group Paddle | Class IV
7 pm: Boater BBQ at the takeout (details to be announced)

Saturday, August 8th, 2026
8:30 am : Racer Shuttle @ Gradient Mountain Sports
10 am : Racer’s Meeting @ Hayden Arch Bridge
10:30 am: Women & Youth Slalom Race Begins | Class III
11:30 pm: Men’s Slalom Race Begins | Class III
12:30 pm : Shoshone Canyon Racer’s Meeting @Hayden Arch Bridge
1 pm : Shoshone Canyon Race Begins | Class IV
6:30 pm : Free Public Concert @ City Park
