Stothart Reading

Students, faculty and staff, along with community members are invited to this first open mic event of the spring semester to share a creative or academic work in any discipline that is especially meaningful to them. The reading can be poetry or prose, your own work or another author’s.

Generally held on the third or fourth Thursday of the month, the Stothart Readings represent a wonderful opportunity to make connections with other writers and thinkers among the students, faculty, staff, and the Powell and Cody communities. Everyone is invited and welcome to share, or just listen.

The Stothart Readings are named for Rob Stothart, a former associate professor of English at Northwest College who helped launch the NWC Writers Series.
