November 14 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

The Powell Clarks Fork Conservation District is hosting a Small Acreage and Rural Living Workshop on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Homesteader Hall on the Park County Fairgrounds. Tailored specifically for landowners managing properties from 0.5 to 40 acres, the program gathers local specialists, conservation professionals, and regional agencies to deliver practical education for maintaining rural land in Park County.

Presentations throughout the day cover essential land management topics, including:

  • Small acreage animal husbandry and rabbit meat production
  • Soil and water health
  • Irrigation practices and water rights
  • Wildfire risk mitigation
  • Pasture management, rotational grazing, and weed and pest control
  • Wildlife habitat enhancement

Registration is $10 per person and includes all presentation handouts and lunch. Because seating is limited, early registration is encouraged.
