Powell Creative Corner Open Mic+ Art Showcase Night

Our first Open Mic + Art Showcase Night is happening Friday, May 1 from 5–7 PM at Gestalt Studios, and we would LOVE to fill the room with local voices, art, music, and varying creative talents.

Join us and
 perform poetry, music, monologues, theatrical scenes, or original storytelling.
 showcase visual art off mic and/or live for the audience
 submit writing anonymously through our “Read-Me” option
 volunteer to help make the night happen
 or simply attend as an audience member

This is meant to be a welcoming, low-pressure community space for creativity in all forms — beginners, students, first drafts and idea workshopping are absolutely welcome. You can even come up to read or present the work of another artist.
