Knit Techique: Felted Mittens
DATE/TIME: November 21, 2024; 1-3pm.
Class includes: Learn how to knit and felt mittens. This is a two-part class.
Notes: This pattern is written for Magic loop, TAAT (two at a time), if you wish to use DPNs or knit one mitten at a time you will need to make the appropriate adjustments.
Materials: 220 -300 yds worsted weight wool (make sure it will felt, not super wash or “machine washable”)
Cuff is not felted & can be knit out of contrasting color or other yarn that is super wash or yarn that will not felt.
Size US10 circulars (40” or longer for Magic Loop) &US4 for cuff
For one at a time: 16” circular or double point needles (set of 5) & Size US4 (for cuff ribbing),
Small amount of worsted weight Cotton yarn for Before felting.
