Babysitter’s Basic Training
BASIC BABYSITTERS TRAINING
The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course is to provide youth who want to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. Designed for youth ages 11 to 15, the course helps participants develop leadership skills, build a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, and guide children’s behavior. Participants also learn about basic child care and basic first aid.
