Art Explorers K-2nd Grade
Join local artist Sarah Shearer on Fridays from 2:00-3:00pm to explore art! During these sessions, students will dive into fundamental elements of design, such as line, shape, color, and texture. Students will discover how these elements work together to create art though engaging projects.
Each project will be inspired by the Center’s museums with the students observing real-world examples of art to gain a deeper understanding of design elements. These hands on sessions will allow each student to develop their creativity, problem solving skills, and fine motor skills while also expermenting with a variety of art media. $40/student or $35/member (scholarships are available)
