Digging for Diamonds – Your Chance to Win!
Cody Jewelers kicks off its annual diamond-buying trip to Antwerp, Belgium, by giving you a chance to win a natural earth-mined diamond. You can take your chance at finding the prize at their store in downtown Cody, Wyoming. The fun continues until October 11 unless the diamond is found first.
Each person gets to scoop out one shovelful of dirt from the container that holds one diamond and many cubic zirconia stones. Whatever you find will be tested in front of you to see if it’s the real deal. If it is, the diamond is yours. The winning diamond includes a complimentary seating of the diamond in a setting you already own or choose to purchase; however, no purchase is necessary.
On October 11, the owners of Cody Jewelers will travel to Antwerp, Belgium, the home of the world diamond exchange. They will purchase diamonds straight from De Beers, which controls 90% of the diamond trade. By traveling to Belgium and buying directly, Cody Jewelers can save you money because there are no middlemen.
