The Streets Division will begin seasonal street sweeping on Monday, March 30, per the following schedule:

When sweepers are in your area, please ensure that vehicles, boats, trailers, etc. are removed from the proper street side between the hours of 6:30 AM and 3:30 PM. North and east sides of streets will be swept on Monday and Tuesday; south and west sides of streets will be swept on Wednesday and Thursday. Unsure of what sweeping area you live in? We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and compassionate to join our team and help care for the dogs and cats at the shelter. This position plays a vital role in keeping the shelter clean, the animals cared for, and everything running smoothly day to day.
Animal Care Technicians are responsible for feeding, cleaning, laundry, walking dogs, monitoring animal health, and helping make sure our animals are comfortable while they wait for their new homes.
This position does include weekend and holiday shifts.

Early Childhood Education Specialist: Two-Year-Old Classroom
The ideal candidate will work primarily with children aged 2 years. This position has variable hours up to 30+/—hours per week. It is a Monday through Friday, year-round opportunity with most major holidays and weekends off. Pay depends on experience. Experience as an Early Childhood professional is preferred. Additional training is required. Must be 18 years or older. Apply in person with a cover letter and resume. The facility is located at 602 Blackburn Street, Cody, Wyoming. Big Horn Basin Media is now booking vendors for the 2026 Home & Garden Show, happening May 1–2, 2026 at the Riley Arena Events Center in Cody. Reach more than 9,000 attendees from across the Big Horn Basin with an inside 8’×10’ booth, plus optional electricity, tables, chairs, and radio advertising for added exposure. The Garage-A-Rama is coming! The Cody Optimist Club rents the gymnasium area at the Cody Rec Center on a Friday and Saturday in April. Rectangular spaces in the gymnasium are rented to local Vendors (the sellers). The spaces are 12 feet by 8 feet in size. Tables and chairs are also rented to the Vendors. In 2026, the Vendor Spaces rent for $45 each, tables for $6 each, and chairs for $3 each. Some electrical outlets are also available for $5 each. The Vendors sell various garage sales items, tools, toys, jewelry, clothing items, books, baked goods, etc., just about anything you might find at a typical garage sale. However the Cody Optimists do not allow Vendors to sell Firearms, Guns, Ammo, Fireworks, Marijuana, Cannabis Products, Narcotics, Sex Toys, Pornography, or Animals. MISCELLANEOUS
The Cody and Powell Clarks Fork Conservation Districts are collecting well water samples from community members residing within our districts’ boundaries. Each household is eligible to participate in a 50/50 cost share once a year. With the cost share, each test will cost $69.

Pick up sample bottles ahead of time at either of our offices, collect your samples the morning of April 29th, and bring them to our office before noon.

The District will require direct payment by the Owner upon submittal of well water sample. If you are unable to deliver tests to either office between 8:30 and noon on April 29th, you can still qualify for the cost share price but will need to transport samples to Billings Energy Labs yourself within 30 hours of collection.
