| The Cody Branch of the American Association of University Women will be awarding a $2,000.00 scholarship. Deadline for the application is April 1, 2026, and the scholarship will be awarded May 1, 2026. Preference for this scholarship is given to Cody-area women who will be at the junior, senior or graduate level of college in their next semester. Selection for the scholarship is based on scholastic ability, financial need, an indication of commitment to one’s chosen field, and the overall quality of the application. Big Horn Basin Media is now booking vendors for the 2026 Home & Garden Show, happening May 1–2, 2026 at the Riley Arena Events Center in Cody. Reach more than 9,000 attendees from across the Big Horn Basin with an inside 8’×10’ booth, plus optional electricity, tables, chairs, and radio advertising for added exposure. Our internship applications are open!
Our student internship program provides unique learning opportunities within a museum environment, with various options available in fields such as education, public relations, collections, our raptor program, and more. Each internship lasts for 10 weeks, offering a competitive pay rate of $14 per hour along with a $1,000 housing stipend.
Internships for summer of 2026 include those listed below. While available internships vary each year, they typically include work in specific museums, the research library, education, collections, etc.
