Freedom Celebration
Park County Republican Party Chairman Martin Kimmet invites you to the Annual Freedom Celebration, July 3rd, at one o’clock at the State of Wyoming Veterans Memorial Park to celebrate two hundred forty-eight years of our nation’s independence.
The arriving audience will tap their feet and enjoy a live concert of good old country music played by the “Crazy Mountain Lonesome” band, playing from noon to one o’clock.
The program opens with two vintage T-34’s tipping their wings, saluting our unsung heroes – our farmers and agriculture community, who feed our nation. The Posting of Colors will be by the Future Farmers of America, and Taps will be played by Bob Berry and Kaylea Short. Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Larry French. The National Anthem will be sung by Presley Bray, and the Invocation and Benediction will be given by Streams of Life Church Pastor Ron Kingston. Placing of the wreath will be by Britt DeBore, Heart Mountain farmer and Marine Corps veteran.
Chairman Kimmet will be master of ceremonies and all three Wyoming Federal representatives and all five top State elected officials (Governor, et al) will be in attendance and each will briefly address the audience. The guest speaker will be Brent Bien, Colonel, United States Marine Corps (Retired).
