Jim Beavers Memorial Graveyard Gallop Fun Run

The Homesteader Museum is hosting the 5th Annual Jim Beavers Memorial Graveyard Gallop on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Featuring 10K, 5K, and 1-mile run/walk distances, this annual Halloween event sends participants along out-and-back courses that pass by the cemetery.

Runners and walkers are encouraged to join the fun by wearing a Halloween costume or sporting green and yellow Green Bay Packers gear in honor of Jim’s favorite team. Prizes will be awarded following the conclusion of the races. All proceeds directly benefit the Homesteader Museum Association, Inc. to support children’s workshop scholarships and ongoing education and professional development programs.

Note: Event shirts ordered after October 21st will not be available on race day but may be picked up at the Homesteader Museum during Sample the Seasons.
