Fall Buffalo Gals Luncheon

The Buffalo Bill Center of the West is hosting the Fall Buffalo Gals Luncheon, featuring a special presentation by author Chase Reynolds Ewald and photographer Audrey Hall. This event offers a captivating look into how two individuals from very different backgrounds met in Cody and began a friendship and creative collaboration spanning three decades.
Through personal stories and rarely seen photographs, the duo will share the people, places, projects, and adventures that have shaped their work across the American West. You will hear about the unlikely pitch for their multi-award-winning book, BISON: Portrait of an Icon, and their recent cross-country winter road trip documenting the journey of three monumental bronze bison sculptures to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History.
This conversation provides a behind-the-scenes look at thirty years of collaboration, highlighting the unexpected moments and leaps of faith that shaped their journey. Chase Reynolds Ewald brings a deep connection to the region with twenty published books and strong local ties, while Audrey Hall shares her award-winning visual exploration of the relationship between people and western landscapes.
Tickets for the luncheon are $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
