Cole Clark – Live Music

Cole Clark and High Horse traverse the States playing traditional country/western and rowdy honky-tonk music. From Hank Williams to Dwight Yoakam, they cover the vast landscape of Country. Borrowing from the ways of Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen and hailing from Arizona, High Horse is an inspired honky-tonk bar-band.
Cole sees Honky-Tonk as a niche type of variety band. “To cover the bases of country music, you can play everything from blues, to jazz, to bluegrass, to rock, to cajun music – country takes on so many flavors. In any given show, we’ll have swing, shuffles, waltzes, train beats, rockin’ anthems, sad songs, and rowdy, silly, showy tunes like ‘Smoke, Smoke, Smoke that Cigarette’ and ‘Hot Rod Lincoln’. Hopefully some fiddle and pedal steel, too.”
