Help our Cody Jamaicans – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Saturday November 8th, 2025 we will be preparing a collection of traditional Jamaican dishes, crafted by our inhouse team, at the 8th Street at the Ivy restaurant. Please join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All proceeds from Jamaican dishes will be going towards relief for Hurricane Melissa.
Hours: Sat | 7:00 am – 2:00 pm & 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica as a Category 5 monster, the most powerful storm in the island’s recorded history. Winds of 185 mph tore roofs from homes, flooded entire towns, and wiped-out power across the entire nation. Neighborhoods are underwater, and thousands of families have lost everything: their homes, belongings, and sense of safety. Recovery will take time, strength, and support.

For the past 18 years, we’ve had the honor of welcoming Jamaican workers to our hotels; not just as team members, but as family. Every year we proudly welcome them through the H2B Visa Program, working hand in hand with the U.S. Immigration and the Department of Labor to meet all legal requirements and bring their talent and heart to Cody. Season after season, generation after generation, they return to Cody, a place they call home. They bring with them warmth, joy, hospitality, and a spirit rooted in unity and “one love”. They have laughed with us, worked beside us, supported us, and shared their culture with us in a way that has shaped who we are. To see them now face unimaginable loss is deeply personal.
