Artist in Residence: Sonja Jackson
We welcome our second Artist in Residence to the Cody Country Art League. Sonja Jackson, a Cody resident, answered her calling to follow her passion in art in 2024, resigned from her healthcare position and committed full time to painting. Second to working on her art, hiking and searching for her next painting reference is what she loves to do most.
Wildlife and western art are her preferred genres, but she’s also a talented landscape artist as well. Stop in and see Sonja Jackson Art – live in the classroom Wednesday through Saturday 9am to 5pm- in the CCAL classroom behind the gallery at 836 Sheridan Ave., downtown Cody.
