Labor Day Writers Retreat

Come take in a time of personal space, reflection, and intention outside of Yellowstone National Park to write and cultivate your work, aiming for publication or just the intention of expression.

This workshop has a good balance of facilitated space paired with time to write and develop your craft. Consider an extra day to lengthen your time for cultivating your written work. The beauty of summer welcomes you at Thomas the Apostle Retreat Center. The hikes, labyrinth, spacious housing, and studios hope to be spaces for growth, creating and re-centering. Workshop day is on Saturday.

Whether you choose to take a free afternoon to craft words or get into nature, know that Sunday afternoon has free time to hike, kayak, visit a museum, work some words, or spend time on the land. There is something for everyone, with a lot of spacious nooks on the property, both in spirit and stature. The list of off-property activities will be posted and will provide transportation. Plan to join as much or as little of the “set schedule” that suits your needs.

The food provided by the staff offers farm-to-table cuisine in a relaxing mountain-view environment.
