Trades Fair
The Powell Library is hosting a ‘Trades Fair’ at the Park County Fairgrounds where professionals in a skilled trade will be showcasing their field through fun and interactive methods! Bring the family to this free learning event on Saturday, February 22, 2025 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees at the ‘Trades Fair’ will have the opportunity to sit inside of heavy equipment and vehicles that require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to drive. The NWC Center for Training and Development will be bringing their CDL Simulator and Garland Light & Power Co. will be doing high voltage safety demonstrations. Other businesses will also be showcasing what they do for a living through fun and interactive ways!
The skilled trades include electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, concrete, mechanics, construction and more.
