Get Ready to Laugh! Rotary Show 2.0

Feb 14, 2025

It’s time to buy your tickets to celebrate the return of the Cody Rotary Show! This well-loved event has been a winter staple in Cody for decades, entertaining through an annual roast of the town while raising funds for the Rotary service projects.

During their 75th Anniversary celebration last spring, the Rotarians put on a mini show infused the jokes and fun that kept the audience all in stitches. Everyone missed this annual event. And now it’s back! This smaller scale (the fun size) works well to bring back this beloved annual event on a level more manageable for the smaller membership. Service organizations are essential to the Cody community, and many have struggled to gain younger members. Rotary is no different but is creatively finding ways to continue to give back to Cody.

The 2025 Cody Rotary Show 2.0: The FUN size!

On February 28, the Rotary Show will be at a new venue, the Cody Cattle Company. Not only will there be an hour of laughter, but it will start with a pulled pork dinner. For only $20, it’s sure to be a night of fun. Doors open at 5:00 pm, dinner at 6:00 pm, and the show at 7:00 pm.

Expect good-natured jokes aimed at the quirkiness of Cody and an opportunity to laugh at ourselves while also raising money to do good in the community. The proceeds will benefit various rotary programs such as Cody Cares – an organized effort to invite us all to join the Rotarians as we clean up the town each spring; Happy Feet – a program to make sure kids have shoes and warm winter boots; the Dictionary Program which gives each 3rd grader in Cody Schools a free dictionary to foster a love of words; and their International Youth Exchange Program and High School Scholarships. Rotary also supports other local non-profits.

Rotary is a service organization and a great place for businesses to network. If you’re interested in learning more, come to their weekly luncheon meeting on Thursdays at noon at the Irma Hotel’s Governor’s Room.
