The 9th Inning Baseball Camp

The Cody Rec Center is hosting The 9th Inning Baseball Camp in the gyms on Monday and Wednesday evenings from January 11 through March 1, 2027. Designed for youth players ages 7 to 12, the multi-week training program focuses on comprehensive fundamentals and winter skill development ahead of the spring season.
Instruction covers essential facets of the game, including:
- Conditioning, speed, and baserunning mechanics
- Arm strengthening, throwing programs, and pitching
- Hitting technique and plate discipline
- Fielding development and situational baseball strategy
- Mental aspects of the game
The camp is structured into two age brackets (Ages 7–9 and Ages 10–12). Registration is $65 per participant and is capped at 15 players per age group to ensure focused instruction. Registration officially opens on Monday, October 26th.
Participant Requirements:
- Players must bring their own helmet, bat, glove, and water bottle.
- A clean pair of indoor tennis shoes is required to change into before entering the gym floor (street shoes worn into the building are not permitted).
- Note: Camp will not meet on January 18 or February 15 due to holidays.
