SUMMARY:Wiggly West Tours: Plains Indian Museum
DESCRIPTION:Does our fast-paced world ever make you wish you had a pause button? This year\, we’re giving children (ages 0-5) and their caregivers time to slow down together\, connect with other families\, and reflect on the Center’s collections through our Wiggly West Tours series. During each program\, participants will pause in one gallery to carefully observe a few objects before moving to the classroom to complete a related\, hands-on activity together. Our educators will lead the group in building visual awareness\, thinking critically\, and considering the perspectives of others – important skills at every age! \nTour Schedule & Locations:\n\nMAR 13 – Buffalo Bill Museum\nMAY 15 – Draper Natural History Museum\nAUG 14 – Whitney Western Art Museum\nNOV 13 – Plains Indian Museum\n\nEvent Details & Registration:\n\nCost: Free for members\, $15 per non-member adult.\nRefreshments: Lemonade and veggie straws provided. (Snacks and drinks welcome in the classroom!)\nRegistration: Space is limited and reservations are encouraged. Register online at tickets.centerofthewest.org.\n\n\nCody Journal advertisers and reader support make this calendar possible.
