DESCRIPTION:The Powell Clarks Fork Conservation District is hosting a Small Acreage and Rural Living Workshop on Saturday\, November 14\, 2026\, at Homesteader Hall on the Park County Fairgrounds. Tailored specifically for landowners managing properties from 0.5 to 40 acres\, the program gathers local specialists\, conservation professionals\, and regional agencies to deliver practical education for maintaining rural land in Park County. \nPresentations throughout the day cover essential land management topics\, including: \n\nSmall acreage animal husbandry and rabbit meat production\nSoil and water health\nIrrigation practices and water rights\nWildfire risk mitigation\nPasture management\, rotational grazing\, and weed and pest control\nWildlife habitat enhancement\n\nRegistration is $10 per person and includes all presentation handouts and lunch.
