DESCRIPTION:Northwest College is hosting its fourth Annual Student Academic Showcase on Friday\, May 1\, in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center. The event is scheduled from 9:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.\, is free and open to the public.\nThe Student Academic Showcase highlights student work throughout the academic year involving creativity\, discovery\, research\, innovation\, and/or entrepreneurship\, giving them an opportunity to take part in a professional exhibit of scholarship across the disciplines. DESCRIPTION:Our first Open Mic + Art Showcase Night is happening Friday\, May 1 from 5–7 PM at Gestalt Studios\, and we would LOVE to fill the room with local voices\, art\, music\, and varying creative talents.\nJoin us and\n perform poetry\, music\, monologues\, theatrical scenes\, or original storytelling.\n showcase visual art off mic and/or live for the audience\n submit writing anonymously through our “Read-Me” option\n volunteer to help make the night happen\n or simply attend as an audience member\nThis is meant to be a welcoming\, low-pressure community space for creativity in all forms — beginners\, students\, first drafts and idea workshopping are absolutely welcome.
