She will always be treasured\, and her life remembered by her students and peer teachers. DESCRIPTION:Join the Absaroka Fence Initiative on Saturday Sept 27th from 8:45am to noon in the YU Bench Area. We will by modifying a barbed wire fence to be more wildlife friendly for our migrating pronghorn. \nWhen: Please arrive at 8:45am. We will start our project briefing at 9am and work until around noon. We are providing lunch after the workday! \nWhere: 44.411837\, -108.819290 \nDirections: Out of Cody\, head east on Highway 14-16-20 for about 8 miles. Turn right onto county road 3FK/3JU (the YU Bench road). Stay on the road 3JU for roughly 6 miles. At 44.418253\, -108.821512 (where the AFI signs/flagging will be) turn right right onto a dirt road. About half a mile down that road will be our fence meeting spot. \nWear good work shoes or boots\, long sleeves and pants\, and work gloves. Gaiters can help protect legs in sagebrush. Please bring water bottles. If you have fence tools\, feel free to bring them (additionally tools will be provided). \nAll are welcome to come—this is a family-friendly event for all ages and experience levels. DESCRIPTION:Saturday November 8th\, 2025 we will be preparing a collection of traditional Jamaican dishes\, crafted by our inhouse team\, at the 8th Street at the Ivy restaurant. Please join us for breakfast\, lunch and dinner. All proceeds from Jamaican dishes will be going towards relief for Hurricane Melissa.\nHours: Sat | 7:00 am – 2:00 pm & 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm\nOn October 28\, 2025\, Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica as a Category 5 monster\, the most powerful storm in the island’s recorded history. Winds of 185 mph tore roofs from homes\, flooded entire towns\, and wiped-out power across the entire nation. Neighborhoods are underwater\, and thousands of families have lost everything: their homes\, belongings\, and sense of safety. Recovery will take time\, strength\, and support.\nFor the past 18 years\, we’ve had the honor of welcoming Jamaican workers to our hotels; not just as team members\, but as family. Every year we proudly welcome them through the H2B Visa Program\, working hand in hand with the U.S. Immigration and the Department of Labor to meet all legal requirements and bring their talent and heart to Cody. Season after season\, generation after generation\, they return to Cody\, a place they call home. They bring with them warmth\, joy\, hospitality\, and a spirit rooted in unity and “one love”. They have laughed with us\, worked beside us\, supported us\, and shared their culture with us in a way that has shaped who we are.
