SUMMARY:Babysitter’s Basic Training
DESCRIPTION:BASIC BABYSITTERS TRAINING\nThe primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course is to provide youth who want to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. Designed for youth ages 11 to 15\, the course helps participants develop leadership skills\, build a babysitting business\, keep themselves and others safe\, and guide children’s behavior. Participants also learn about basic child care and basic first aid.\nWhat You’ll Learn:\nAlthough every situation is unique\, there are some universal skills and techniques that every babysitter should have. Our courses were designed with this principle in mind and can help you deliver the care that families need. Just a few of the things our babysitting classes cover include:\nBasic Care for Infants and Children\nBasic First Aid\nChild Behavior\nAge-Appropriate Activities\nEmergency Protocols\nProfessionalism\nLeadership\nGrowing Your Business\nCost: $60/person\nThis Class is an 8-hour class.
