SUMMARY:Sold Out Tours & Toddies: Haunted Halls
DESCRIPTION:Step Beyond the Museum Walls… Into the Unknown\nThis October\, the Buffalo Bill Center of the West invites you to experience history with a twist—an after-hours journey into the unexplained. Ever wondered how a paranormal investigation works? What tools detect the unseen? Or what stories still linger in the dark?\nJoin the Exclusive Tours Team and the Wyoming Area Spirit Posse (W.A.S.P.) on October 11 or October 17\, from 7:00–9:00 PM\, for a spine-tingling evening inside the heart of the Center. As you explore darkened galleries\, who knows—you may leave with a ghost story of your own. Whether you’re a skeptic\, a believer\, or simply looking for a thrill\, this experience will reveal the Center like you’ve never seen it. History is guaranteed. Ghosts are optional.\nThis Tours & Toddies event is $55 per person\, or $50 for Center members. SUMMARY:The Stothart Readings
DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re a student\, NWC employee\, or community member\, we’re inviting everyone to a pair of open mic events on October 31 and November 21\, to share a creative or academic work in any discipline that is especially meaningful to you. The reading can be poetry or prose\, your own work or another author’s. Even if you’d rather listen to others\, all are welcome.\nThe Stothart Readings represent a wonderful opportunity to make connections with other writers and thinkers among the students\, faculty\, staff\, and the Powell or Cody communities. They’re named for Rob Stothart\, a former associate professor of English at Northwest College who helped launch the NWC Writers Series. \n\nCody Journal advertisers make this calendar possible.
