SUMMARY:Cody Youth Climbing Camp
DESCRIPTION:Our Cody Youth Climbing Camp is open to youth of all backgrounds in northwest Wyoming who want to explore the amazing rock climbing resources in their backyard. This educational climbing camp focuses on three main learning objectives: safety\, sustainability\, and being supportive partners. Safety is our first priority as participants learn the fundamentals of climbing safety systems and technique they climb outdoors west of Cody. Sustainability is also very important as we place great emphasis on teaching Leave No Trace practices to help participants become more sustainable users of this pristine resource. We also work hard to foster a supportive learning environment for participants to feel included\, valued\, and part of a team that works together. This camp is physically and mentally challenging but highly rewarding as participants learn new skills\, explore a beautiful place\, and have a lot of fun!\nDates:\nSession 1: June 8-10\, 2026\nSession 2: July 13-15\, 2026\nLocations:\nSelect locations in Shoshone Canyon near Cody\, Wyoming\nAges:\n9-16 years old\nRate:\n$275 ($100 deposit at sign up\, remaining balance due two weeks before camp). This includes gratuity for the guides working the camp.\nTransportation and logistics:\nWe do not provide transportation for this camp. DESCRIPTION:Our Cody Youth Climbing Camp is open to youth of all backgrounds in northwest Wyoming who want to explore the amazing rock climbing resources in their backyard. This educational climbing camp focuses on three main learning objectives: safety\, sustainability\, and being supportive partners. Safety is our first priority as participants learn the fundamentals of climbing safety systems and technique they climb outdoors west of Cody. Sustainability is also very important as we place great emphasis on teaching Leave No Trace practices to help participants become more sustainable users of this pristine resource. We also work hard to foster a supportive learning environment for participants to feel included\, valued\, and part of a team that works together. This camp is physically and mentally challenging but highly rewarding as participants learn new skills\, explore a beautiful place\, and have a lot of fun!\nDates:\nSession 1: June 8-10\, 2026\nSession 2: July 13-15\, 2026\nLocations:\nSelect locations in Shoshone Canyon near Cody\, Wyoming\nAges:\n9-16 years old\nRate:\n$275 ($100 deposit at sign up\, remaining balance due two weeks before camp).
