Happy Weekend, Journal Tribe,

Such a beautiful weekend for the opening of the East Entrance! Many thanks to Steph's Kitchen, Mountain High Health Foods and PCTC (Cody Yellowstone) for adding to the goodies we were able to take up to the workers at the East Gate to celebrate the start of the summer season. Next week starts out with a reception on Sunday Night at BBCW for Parks Day and a National Parks Day luncheon on Monday at the Holiday where the Superintendents from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks will speak about the upcoming summer. Get tickets at the Chamber.

In addition, on Monday, there will be the start of a multi-class of Drones for First Responders with the Cody Police Department and a presentation at the library: Top of the World: Snowy Owls on Edge of Survival. AND, Cody’s City Raw Water Turns On, so make sure your valves are closed before then!


Tuesday there's a Sip and Paint at Steph's Kitchen and the Spicy Romance Book Discussion Group meets at the library.

Wednesday has two sessions of the McCracken Research Library Book Club (morning and evening), the Astronomical Society Meeting, and Ella Rae Cole will play at the Chamberlin Inn.

A $5.83 million pavement improvement project is scheduled to begin in early May west of Cody on U.S. 14/16/20.
