WELCOME

Happy Wednesday!

Time to look forward to Labor Day weekend! The big event for the weekend is the Meeteetse Labor Day Rodeo Celebration. But there's also the Fist Full of Dirt Gravel Bike Race with a concert in City Park and a Wyoming Whiskey Private Stock Tasting at Blanca Tatanka. Be sure to check the Holiday Trash Schedule if you have trash normally picked up on Mondays.

Lake Hotel and Roosevelt Lodge will be closing at the end of the weekend. However, lodging in the Lake Hotel cabins will continue into October.

Kids are back to school. Staffing issues have Mini Golf changing hours/closing sooner than expected and the Trailhead Restaurant is now requiring reservations to keep service up even with limited staff. Know that I'll be working to update the Restaurant Hours soon. Feel free to hit reply and let me know if you already know of changes to be made.

Friday is the deadline to apply for Cody's Citizen Academy. This is a great way to better understand how the City of Cody works. I went through this and can't recommend it highly enough if you want to better understand this amazing community.

Enjoy your Labor Day!
